The five devices at a glance
According to overseas leaks, BOOX has five new devices planned for 2026, spanning pocket reading to productivity tablets:
- Palma 3: phone-shaped pocket reader, rumored Carta 1300 monochrome panel, 5G connectivity, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage and stylus support;
- Note Air 6C: 10.3-inch color e-paper tablet expected to run Android 16, aimed at note-taking and documents;
- Note Mini C: compact color e-paper device for light notes and sketching;
- Tab Elite: flagship for power users, positioned as a laptop replacement;
- Books Pico: 3.97-inch ultra-mini e-reader for commuting and on-the-go reading.
Technical highlights
The Palma 3's Carta 1300 panel delivers higher contrast and cleaner letter edges for comfortable long sessions, while the Note Air 6C's color screen makes textbooks, PDFs and annotations far more intuitive. Overall BOOX keeps pursuing its "open Android + color e-paper" differentiation.
Buying advice
If you want ultimate portability with a phone-like feel, watch the Palma 3; for handwriting and color annotation the Note Air 6C fits better; and the Books Pico suits lightweight users who just want one small book in their pocket.
